KOTO stands for Know One, Teach One and the cooking class in HCMC is part of their social enterprise network in Vietnam.
KOTO’s social enterprise business model is a means to generate income to support the operational costs of KOTO as a whole to improve KOTO’s capacity to train more students.
Currently, KOTO Enterprise comprises restaurants, catering services, online bakery and cooking class. The idea is to create a self sustainable system, where KOTO can largely rely on its own resources and become less dependant on external funding.
KOTO is a pioneer in the social enterprise world in Vietnam and is willing to share its model in the firm belief that it can be applied elsewhere.
we offer cooking classes for the all those interested in knowing the secrets of the Vietnamese cuisine. Vietnamese food is not only healthy but also very tasteful and refined. We use herbs and spices wisely, making our dishes a real delight for foodies.
In the cooking classes, KOTO offers a hands-on approach. Participants are guided through all the steps with the end result of a typical Vietnamese menu, which not only tastes delicious, but is also a visual joy. Imagine how you could surprise your dinner guests next time with an aesthetically perfect Vietnamese meal! Learn to prepare spring rolls, Pho-soup, seafood dishes or Vietnamese desserts guided by our professional English speaking personnel.
They also offer the opportunity to join their chef in a tour at the market to choose the ingredients for the cooking class! This is a chance to really discover what the food of Vietnam is all about.
