Parwa Restaurant offers a tasty selection of traditional regional dishes, based on ingredients from the Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru. Huchuy Qosqo Association is a community-based tourism enterprise offering a gorgeous wide space, a welcoming atmosphere, personalized attention, and the warmth of an Andean community.

The restaurant is deeply embedded in the community. Over 25 micro entrepreneurs received technical assistance from and funds from Planeterra to establish new businesses, all with the goal of supplying the Parwa restaurant, and to offer goods for sale to travelers visiting the Huchuy Qosco community. Just a few of the social projects supported by this Peruvian social enterprise include:

  • A hydrological project
  • An organic garden
  • A computer room
  • Food donations
