Becky’s Foundation is a local organization based in Senya Beraku-Ghana. In partnership with international volunteers and charitable organizations, the organization operates a number of projects in the region, requiring volunteers in a range of fields, from healthcare medical volunteering to education.
Becky’s Foundation operates a preparatory school and soccer academy for a social change. With it deep roots in the local communities is able to assist likewise credible local projects in healthcare, special needs and community developments. The work of becky’s Foundation is carried out by dedicate local staff and consistently supported by a diverse group of incredible volunteers from all over the world.
Requirements to join Beckfound as a volunteer:
- Must be able to commit at least 2 weeks
- At least 18 years or older.
- Open minded, willing to learn and adjust to fit in a different a culture and work in a less resourceful environment
- Healthcare volunteers must provide certificates and verification of medical degrees
- Background check (dated within 1 year)
Generally, volunteers should plan 30 days of volunteering. There is no maximum.
There is no registration fee, however there is an insignificant program fee to cover the cost of airport transfers, 3 meals daily, orientation, accommodation, pure water, project support, debriefing/send off gathering and a certificate upon completion. The organization offers additional discounts for long-term volunteers.
