Conservacion Patagonica is working to build the Patagonia National Park, a National Park that will protect this beautiful wilderness, restore ecosystems, recover wildlife, create trails and campgrounds, and many other eco-friendly projects. The end goal is to donate a fully functional new park to the Chilean state.
The organization needs volunteers and interns to join the ecosystem restoration and trail building programs. Volunteers will pitch in with the real work of bringing the Patagonian ecosystem back to life. Aspiring conservationists are invited to join for 3, 6, or 9 month internships, where they take on specific roles at the project and make a major contribution.
Volunteer and internship spots fill up quickly, so plan ahead of time and apply with plenty of notice!
Volunteers are asked to volunteer for three, six, or nine month stints. Also, internships are available by application.
Volunteers pay $20/day to cover all meals, hot water, laundry, and extra amenities such as use of the Internet. Volunteers must bring their own tent/accommodation when outside the city.
