Human IS Right works for the promotion of the rights of the less privileged in Cameroon through two main projects which are the Prisoners Rights Project and Supporting Gender Equality in Rural Cameroon Project. By these two projects, Human IS Right empowers women and provides free legal aid to pre-trial detainees in the Buea prison.

International interns plays a vital role in the functioning and development of the organization and its programs. Interns contribute diverse skills in law, international development, fundraising, communications, education, and mediation training working directly with HisR staff to develop and implement HisR projects and initiatives. Given the importance of interns to the organization, HisR welcomes applications from different work and educational backgrounds in accordance to the current needs of the organization.
