Learn for Life Society’s aim is to provide basic education to children from a poor background in Varanasi, India. In this way they may escape the cycle of poverty through their own strength and take their lives into their own hands.
The Badi Asha School is Learn for Life Society’s main project and is located in Varanasi, India. The pupils, whose parents cannot afford any school education for them, come from backgrounds of extreme poverty and are welcomed to the school to learn a variety of skills.
The charity also runs a women’s empowerment group offering fair-paid work to local women, many of these women are mothers of the students attending the Badi Asha School.
