Sanlaap is a development organization that works towards correction of social imbalances, which manifest in gender injustice and violence against woman and children. The organization runs a shelter, medical rehabilitation for girls we rescue from brothels, youth group, support group, and rehabilitation initiatives (in textiles). Volunteers are able to assist in these projects depending on skill levels — the organization accepts help in everything from the medical program and mental health services program, to teaching and playing with the children.
