Sanlaap is a development organization that works towards correction of social imbalances, which manifest in gender injustice and violence against woman and children. The organization runs a shelter, medical rehabilitation for girls we rescue from brothels, youth group, support group, and rehabilitation initiatives (in textiles). Volunteers are able to assist in these projects depending on skill levels — the organization accepts help in everything from the medical program and mental health services program, to teaching and playing with the children.
Varies depending on you skills and which project you will be volunteering on. Contact directly to discuss.
No fees to volunteer. Volunteers must cover their own food and lodging.
