Tevel b’Tzedek is an Israeli NGO with aimed at repairing the world locally and globally and working together in impoverished communities to enhance their livelihood, capacity, and well being. This program is only open to volunteers of Jewish heritage between the ages of 20-40.

Tevel is invested in discovering sustainable methods for ending poverty and the organization works with a local staff and community members to help development. They look for and invest in long-term methods that address at the community as a whole. Volunteers work with the local staff and community members on media, education, agriculture, women’s empowerment, youth empowerment, and public health initiatives.

Two distinct programs. “Exchange for Change” lasts one month.

“Tevel Community” lasts four months with two cycles per year – one during the spring (February/March – June/July) and one during the fall (October – February).


“Tevel Community” is $450 for the entire program, which spans four months.

“Exchange for Change” is $10-15 per day depending on the project.
