The Learning Center (TLC) is a non-profit NGO service project funded by private donations and founded in 2006. The organization believes education is the essence of all opportunities and TLC is designed to provide educational opportunities to serve underprivileged children so that they are given the chance to change their future through education.

Volunteers must have native English speaking abilities, hold a Bachelor’s degree and those with previous teaching experience are preferred, though not necessary. Teachers will likely be assigned to a rural town somewhere in the Kathmandu Valley and should be prepared for very rural life.

Interns are also needed to assist with grant-writing and other work related to supporting the organization’s goals.
