Description
WEAVE Volunteer Program promotes volunteerism to support the mission to empower women by expanding their rights and opportunities. Volunteers can contribute their time, skills and knowledge to support WEAVE projects along two main directions: Women’s Economic Empowerment and Early Childhood Education.
WEAVE has offices throughout the north, primarily in: Chiang Mai, Mae Sot, and Mae Hong Son. They also run projects in Karen and Karenni Refugee Camps and Thai Villages along the Thai-Burma border. Volunteers are placed at the projects and camps that best meet their skills as well as the organization’s needs at that time. More information is available on their website.
