Linkage is a training restaurant and art gallery founded by a group of volunteers. Its main objective is to build the capacity of children and youth living in poverty by providing vocational training in the culinary field and better access to education. This is a very small restaurant offering travelers delicious Burmese and Chinese fusion dishes.
At Linkage you can enjoy delicious food prepared by enthusiastic young adolescents with dignity. You can also browse through the great collections of paintings for sale by Myanmar artists, with proceeds supporting Linkage operations.
The objective of this training restaurant project is to promote the integration of street children into society through vocational training and better educational access. The project helps not only street children, but also marginalized and underprivileged youth from remote and rural areas of Myanmar. The project helps youth who want to build up their capacity to find better jobs and to have a carrier for life.
