Elephants World is a self-supporting Environmental Conservation Organization that cares for domestic elephants, situated just outside of Kanchanaburi, Thailand. The organization cares for 30+ elephants and offers experiences ranging from one day to multi-week.
The Elephants World Mission is to provide the best possible care for its elephants, staff and visitors. The sanctuary cares for old, sick, abused, retired, and rescued elephants. Most of the elephants have lived very hard lives and they retire in peace at Elephants World.
Founded in 2008, there is a strong educational component to the sanctuary—it strives to make visitors feel welcome while also offering educational, enjoyable, and rewarding elephant interactions.
