Le Tonlé Guesthouse and Restaurant are just a stone’s throw from the mighty Mekong river in Kratie Town and prides itself on having a family feel. It is a social enterprise affiliated with Le Tonlé TTC (Tourism Training Centre); a not-for-profit organisation providing vocational training to disadvantaged youth from Cambodia’s north-eastern provinces. Visiting the guesthouse or restaurant provides the opportunity to support human resource development in Cambodia.
The guesthouse boasts 9 beautiful rooms in a traditional Khmer stilt house on a quiet street in Kratie Town. They harness solar electricity for hot water and lighting to help reduce their carbon footprint. The restaurant in the garden of the guesthouse serves freshly cooked local Khmer dishes, delicious desserts and cocktails.
