From biological monitoring to working in sustainable agriculture, this organization has three field stations in the Peruvian Amazon accepting volunteers to help with conservation efforts.
The organization works to conserve biodiversity in the Amazon basin by developing new scientific understanding, sustainable resource management systems and rational land-use policy.
The organization regularly posts longer-term (3+ months) internship positions as well, so check through the site to see if your skill-set is a good fit for their projects. Volunteers must apply, and acceptance is competitive.
