Cikananga Wildlife Center

The program is open for travelers, students, researchers and other individuals who want to work with wildlife and want to help the many animals that have become victim of the wildlife trade or habitat loss. Through our volunteer and intern program we get valuable support at the center and provide an opportunity for the volunteers to experience the care of wildlife.

Volunteers assist with the daily tasks running the center, from cleaning to feeding the animals. Because safety and welfare of animals is paramount, volunteers do not have open-access to the wildlife, but instead are offered supervised and facilitated times for some tasks.

The center is located about 180km south of Jakarta and different options to travel there are offered (private or public).
