Genevieve’s Fair Trade Village (GFTV) accepts volunteers on an adhoc basis to assist with specific projects to help grow their social enterprise so they are able to support more people in the community. The aim of their volunteering activities is to reduce poverty for local people living with disabilities by developing their skills and knowledge so that they can earn a sustainable income.
Genevieve’s is happy to cater to the needs of the volunteers, with flexible options available and no fees required. Volunteer positions may include; fashion designers, jewellery designers, artists and people with craft skills to assist with the design of handicrafts that can be made by local artisans and sold at the village shop. Or gardening enthusiasts, project managers and labourers to assist with gardening and small building projects at Full Belly Farm.
