Restore One

This is an amazing opportunity to explore and experience Cambodia. You will assist with the Restore One village projects, which include teaching and building of schools and homes, as well as connect with the wonderful Khmer people. Most team trips are based on a 2-week schedule. During this time you will balance the hard work with fun times, including an exceptional tourist visit to the famous Angkor Wat temples in Siem Reap.

Duration
Generally their teams run for 2 weeks. You can either join an existing team or make one of your own if you have more than 10 people coming.
Fees
The costs are as follows: 1) Flights and travel insurance which you purchase (arrive in Phnom Penh and leave from Siem Reap) 2) AUS$1000 per person donated to Restore One for the projects that you will do on the ground (this is tax deductible) 3) US$900 cash given on arrival for food, travel and accommodation on the ground (not tax deductible) 4) US$30 Visa on arrival at Phnom Penh airport Before coming on trip Restore One requires the following things: A) Sign and email the volunteer agreement to volunteer coordinator B) Provide a working with children clearance that is less than 2 years old C) Email flight schedule, passport photocopy and travel insurance to volunteer coordinator
Other Ways You Can Help
Sponsor a Student: Support one child to go to school for $40 p/month. Corporate Support: Restore One offers specialised team-building corporate trips. The projects are centred around the skills of the attending individuals, eg. building and construction, or healthcare. These trips can be tailored as work performance incentives. Build a Home: The cost is $3000 for a basic solid house on poles, which allows the family to keep dry in the wet season.
